Quick guide for the search
- Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
- Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
- Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Hi folks I was hoping to get some advice from the Danes around these parts on Danish Pay as you go SIM providers. I want to avoid getting slammed for data usage with my smartphone whilst I'm in Denmark (I'm coming from the UK). Are there any Danish mobile network providers that do a relatively inexpensive pay as you go SIM card which has a reasonable data allowance included in the cost? This will be my 6th trip to the festival but I've not been since 2007, and back then I just had a standard phone that didn't eat data. Failing this, I'll just come phone-free or turn roaming off or whatever, but it's good to know my options! cheers Mike |

The UK is still a member of the EU (for now at least), and therefore any service provider has to abide by EU law. The EU has per July 1st 2012 introduced a maximum roaming charge limit within the EU at €0.70 excluding VAT per MB (megabyte, not megabit as some companies charge for. divide the charge by 8 if the latter is the case). At July 1st 2013 this maximum roaming charge limit is lowered to €0.45 excluding VAT per MB. Note that exchange rates are also regulated so service providers cannot overcharge on these instead. I've searched around a bit. And it does appear that some Danish service providers does offer, pay-per-use SIM cards that also includes data packages, for example 1GB valid 1 week only for DKK49 (£5.50). However, it also does appear that you must have a legal Danish address to get one, so it's not certain you actually could get one at all. |

Go to the Telia shop at Copenhagen central. Buy a prepaid sim starting package and a 'tank-op'/prepaid data card with 1 or 3 gb for a price (that I dont recall atm). Know a few that did it last year and it was no problem at all. Those are however regular minisims, so newer phones using micro or nanosims would also need a cutting tool to make the simcard fit. |
