Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

You need to use the festival train service, to go from Roskilde Station to Roskilde Festival. You cannot go diretley with train from Copenhagen. Once you arrive at Roskilde Trainstation, you buy a ticket for the rest of the jorney.

You exchange your ticket to a wristband, at the trainstation at the festival it self.

Train from Roskilde Station to Roskilde Festival kosts about 20 DKK, and is paid in cash when going up to the platform the festival train leaves from. Just follow the crowd. At the arrival at the festival area theres an entrance you have to go through where you exchange your ticket into a writstband icon_smile.gif Very easy.

similar question:
say we would arrive at festival station at around 19.00 on sunday. Would we have to expect much queueing then? I'm asking because as far as I know around that time 17.000 people from the waiting area west are entering the campsite. Wouldn't we have to wait for them as we have no entrance booking tickets?
Is the trainstation some kind of a shortcut here?
thanks.

Its confirmed by roskildes web site to be 18:07

So the festival station is closed between 15:47 and 18:07.

So its still 15:47 even though every other departures are at 37.

right, thanks a lot!

but unclear to me still: if we could catch the 18.37 train, we could walk straight onto the campsite after getting a wristband right at the festival station? and would not be led to the entrance west to queue there?
