Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Hi,

I'd like to buy a prepaid mobile internet sim-card for my stay in roskilde&denmark.
I need one for 2 weeks, but a friend would like to know what his options are for 4 days.

What are my options?

I'm looking for a product like this:

http://www.3.dk/Om3/Presse/Pressemeddelelser/2009/Kob-mobilt-bredband-i-supermarkedet-/

google translate

But does it still exist? it's a post from 2009?

Looking at their website it doesn't look like it exists.

TDC has one - http://shop.tdc.dk/Tank-Op-Startpakke/341560,default,pd.html
Telia has one - http://telia.dk/mobil/abonnement/talk
Telenor has one - http://www.telenor.dk/privat/mobilabonnementer/mobilabonnementer/taletidskort/?icid=megadropdown_mobilabonnementer_taletidskort

if these can be bought in supermarkets i don't know, but i'll check on my next visit.

However they all have their own shops in Roskilde city center.
TDC - Algade 11
Telia - Algade 34
Telenor - Algade 18

Thanks Mr. Monster!

The 1st link had an image of a usb-stick, didn't bother to try to translate it.
I could not find good info on the 3rd link, it just shows a bunch of phones and numbers.

The 2nd link is interesting, it's about prepaid
it has =Datakort 3GB, 1 md. 99 kr.=, which i assume is 99kr for 3GB in 1 month.
and =Datakort 1GB, 1 uge 49 kr=, which i assume is 49kr for 1GB in 1 week.
Both of these are good deals.

Summarized:
I'm happy that I can understand 1 of the 3 links(thelia, translated ), and it's a good enough deal.

I am working for a phone producing company, demonstrating our phones to, amongst others, Telia shops, and personally I am using the Telia Talk deals for the demonstration purpose phones. It works fine, and never had any problems personally so far.

I just checked up on it, and a starting package including sim and phone no. is DKK29 (and you already have the data prices)

It works for me on a daily setting, it should work fine for an extended week in Roskilde as well icon_smile.gif

29dk~=3eur, that's not a problem.

Where can you buy Telia prepaid card?
Can I buy it near the boat from Germany to Denmark? (we're from The Netherlands)
Can I buy it in Copenhagen? (for the 1st 2 in our group)
Or should I just buy a card at Roskilde?

There's a Telia shop at Copenhagen Central Station, so that will probably suit you good, they should have both the simcards and the data refill things for them. Just make sure you ask for Telia Talk.

Maybe in a supermarket or a gas station - I don't know about that though, but otherwise find a Telia shop.

Better get it before to make sure they don't run out before/during the festival, but it shouldn't be a problem.

Oh, and just to make sure: They do NOT sell micro-sim cards in the prepaid packages, just for your info if your phone happens to use one of those, but I have had success cutting one myself from the supplied one.

At least the start package with the sim... the prepaid tank-op data cards you can get in any Telia shop regardless of stock, since they can print it themselves as well.
