Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Have RF ever considered adding their lineup to Sched?

Makes it a lot easier to plan your own personal lineup and share with your friends. It can also be integrated with Facebook, Twitter and provides apps for mobile phones. icon_smile.gif

Sorry for my super slow answer!

Yeah, I've tried it. But just as a festival goer. By:larm in Oslo used this year and it was great. Really simple to plan my own schedule and share it with my friends. And the mobile app made really easy to keep track of what I wanted to see and when they were playing.

Of course, it demands some degree of upkeep from your side, but I think both you and all of us going to RF will benefit from it.

Do you have any links so I can see how they did it?

by:Larm finally published their lineup here, so that's a good example. You can sort by venue/stages, see what concerts are the most popular, add your friends personal lineup to your own and much more. Check it out. icon_smile.gif

First: if RF use the App, they need to pay for using it ... (RF make your own app, and save money)
Second: It support Blackberry and not symbian? Useless in the nordic area where Blackberry is almost not used...
third: Sched is for what i can see, an organizing tool if you don't have one... And RF have one...
So if it is to help attendees to plan what concert to see when on the cell, RF is better of making a WEB based or app tool for attendees...

RF seve the money and make it your self ... I know you have people who can and will do it for free so the money can go to some who need them... icon_wink.gif
