Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

So far it says 1-2mm rain a day. Definitely not a wet festival. My guess is that the predictions will change for the better the next couple of days. Only thing I'm not hoping for is extreme rain or heat.

Heavy rain predicted from midnight to morning on the 29th though, so those spending Friday night in queue better have rain gear.

Reminds me, I need new boots.

hmmm well let's hope the weather will be allright. My guess is a bit rainy in the beginning but getting better by the day icon_wink.gif
But aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh I hate putting up my tent in rain!
In my festival career it only happened me twice.

Last year they also warned us about arriving Friday because of very bad weather.

Maybe the festival have made a deal with the rain gods to scare people of arriving to early icon_biggrin.gif

Yeah, but they change it several times each day. Unfortunatly we can still predict the weather with big certaincy only 3 days ahead and with some uncertaincy, 5 days ahead. Anything further out is pretty much a guess.

The regional wheather forecast is much more reliable, and it is looking really good
http://www.dmi.dk/vejr/til-lands/regionaludsigten/kbhnsjaelland/koebenhavn-og-nordsjaelland-7-til-15-doegn/
about 20 degrees and little to no rain, and it is constantly changing for the better.

It looks better and better but I don't dare hoping for anything as good as now because if you turn on the "show uncertainty for rain" (vis usikkerhed for nedbør) it still show alot of rain.

The forecast is looking great! A few small showers, semi-cloudy most of the time, not too hot. Perfecticon_smile.gif Can't wait to get to Denmark on Saturday now!

Looks like its going to be a quite wet festival. Need to buy some rain gear for sure if the prognosis doesnt change over the weekend.

Years ago I started this thread. I haven't been to Roskilde since 2010. I decided this morning that i wanted to go this year, and within a couple of hours I got myself a ticket, and a place in someones tent.
It's really cool to see traces of my Roskilde-past still up and running.
I hope the weather will treat us all well this year. Because of work I will only be at the festival friday-sunday, but I can't wait to get home to Dyreskuerpladsen again!

I thought they ment 2mm per hour. Seems its over a 6 hour period so then its very little.
No need for the bad attitude.

Early for bumping up this thread, probably, but anyway a cut from Guardians article on Glastonbury festival...

In February, German scientists announced they could predict El Niño – the powerful Pacific weather pattern – with greater foresight than before. Others disagreed. The upshot? We may well get an El Niño this year, which means the potential for a hot UK festival summer, and the chance of downright hellish weather elsewhere. Disclaimer: forecasts can go up as well as down, terms and conditions apply, use sunscreen liberally.
