Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

To quote a reviewer: "If dressing up as pirates with your mates, seeing a band dressed up as pirates singing songs of plundering the Spanish treasure fleet, downing rum and shagging wrenches doesn't sound like a fun thing to do then the internet is probably not for you."

haha that one is ridiculous. In a good way though.

I could fear, that "Major Lazer - Watch Out For This" will be played a lot around the campsite.

Strange to seriously suggest a Eurovision song as a repeat hit but it's perfect for Roskilde

Ironic that the song contest was in Malmö. Alcohol is free is certainly three words never before uttered at a party in Sweden.

The Belarus group tried to bring 1000 bottles of Vodka to be handed out to journalists in a goodie-bag.
But they were caught in customs. icon_smile.gif

Hey! Sorry but that was uncalled for!

I highly doubt that that song will be a repeat hit during Roskilde. Don't be stupid. icon_wink.gif

It was totally called for!

Its a good song, it is danish and it won. I am certain it will be played a lot at the campsite unlike the Greek song that was terrible though it had a funny theme.

1) Well, I guess that is a matter of personal taste

2) Hence, the bigger chance imo that it'll be played a lot at Roskilde

The Danish winning song is whining derivative crap (as a Eurovision winner should be).

The Greek song however is funny, not just the chorus, and it's upbeat party music.

well I dont agree with you guys.

When the Olsen brothers won in 2000 the song was played everywhere for a long time after the event.
Only Teardrops is not as good as Wings of love but its still a song that gets totally stuck in your brain when you´ve listened to it a few times.

I compare "Only teardrops" to "Call me maybe" and I would compare the Greek song to "Ostesangen" icon_lol.gif

Lol. you are all a bunch of hipsters just hating on Eurovision cause apparently no "real" music gets played in it.

Hating on Eurovision aint cool anymore and you will find out when you hear "Only teardrops" blasting out of the speakers in all the different camps.icon_lol.gif

So when I was watching Eurovision and get 10 out of 10 in eb.dk quiz and was the one with most correct guess at what place the acts would end up (of the party I was at) I was hateing?

And dam I just don’t have the money to go buy a lot of apple crap.. Can you buy it for me? It is you that have deside that I am a hipster.

The problem is just that is it not that good a party song, the girls at the party I was at tryed to dance to it when it was play after we had won.. it just did´t work very well

I agree. The Norwegian Depeche Mode rip-off was much better in that respect but the Greek entry was the only one that immediately screams out "drunken party music".

EDIT: Oh, and btw, if we were hipsters shouldn't we have raved about the Hungarian entry instead?

Well, it is funny that you decide to call out the hipster card. I have actually never really liked the musical part of the Eurovision, but see it as good entertainment for the masses (me included). It is not about hating the eurovision, I don't do that, although it can be discussed if last year's investments in Azerbaijan were really called for.

Hipster or not, I still do not really care personally for the music at Eurovision, last time I heard a great song from there was before my birth, when Dansevise was part of it. I'll just stick listening to my hipster-kraftwerk and qotsa music instead I guess. Maybe put on a flannelshirt and some worn out jeans vest icon_wink.gif

If it's a drinking theme we're going after then FIDLAR would be a good camp-hit since they are on the poster and all.
