Quick guide for the search

Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

When does the Volunteer applications open for 2012

MFM Posts: 1	Hi All I am thinking of volunteering for 2012 festival, only if i can get a paid/unpaid job before the festival, so i can enjoy all the festival, as i am travelling from the UK. It wouldn't be worth the trip if i have to work through all the festival. Every time for the past 2 years when i go to the site it says applications are closed How do i apply or am i too late Thanks

There are basically 2 ways you can get a volunteer job at the festival. 1. Get a job with one of the associations that runs the shops, food stands etc etc.. Most are local sports clubs or similar. 2. You can sign up on the waiting list.. Last year it was open from the 4th of april through the 17th.. You just need to keep a lookout.. Another thing you should be aware of is that from 2012 and on you need to work 32 hours instead of 24 hours as before!
