  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Today Daft Punk confirmed an upcoming album their website! icon_biggrin.gif

This picture is literally all the info they have given,
but if it does not mean a new album is coming on Columbia Records, then what else?

There have been numerous rumors about a potential tour in 2013.

Two sources say they are coming to Roskilde and Øya:

... Shooting Daft Punk during 2013's european summer tour festivals (roskilde, oyafestivalen, glastonbury)... unconfirmed...
The information is handed down to me from many of the organizers and their parties. From my understanding, the tour they will be having is HUGE. The European summer music festival leg of it, is simply an excercise they will be
having. Danmark, Norway, Britain and Spain, usually get the top 3 headliners, therefore, I have no doubt that the info is accurate, at any length, remember Mr. Bishop... SUBJECT MAY CHANGE WITHOUT WARNING/NOTICE, meaning they hold every right to change it. Ultimately, I really hope you get to see them, they really are amazing as a live show, I'll be ready with my camera. - Oliver James L’eroe, celebrity photographer

Ok, so one of my friends works for Hove...It seems that Hove have wished really hard for Daft Punk, and asked again and again..The answer they got? They're going to play at Roskilde and Øya, NOT Hove. This is a relieable source, so I hope this is true! - Forum user Christiiine said in the thread Expected bands for 2013 (touring in Europe next summer)

Two sources say they are not touring in 2013:

There’s all kinds of crazy rumors flying about at the moment about Daft Punk at Coachella” […] We got told months ago that Daft Punk were definitely not touring next year, but it keeps the rumor mill going. - Rob Da Bank, English DJ and Camp Bestival organizer

Not touring! They might be doing other stuff but they're not playing here. - Emily Eavis, Co-organiser of Glastonbury Festival

No. Rob the Bank has shot the rumours down. He's a festival booker for one of the major festivals in the UK – Bestival. He said that there will be an album, but no tour in 2013. Also, I believe RF already bagged their electronic headliner a few days ago icon_wink.gif

I'm afraid you may be right. :/ I just wanted to sort of wrap it all up.
Looking forward to the new Daft Punk album and Kraftwerk playing Orange then! icon_biggrin.gif

Regarding the Rob Da Bank statement. According to his twitter profile he has made several statements saying he didn't mean that Daft Punk would not tour at all, just that theres one festival they definitely wouldn't be playing.

(and there's more if you look at his tweets from around 3.-10. january.)

However, I definitely have my doubts, as i agree with the major electronic headliner. BUT I'm still keeping my hopes up icon_smile.gif

Head booker at Rock Werchter (same weekend as Roskilde) stated in a interview with a Belgian radio station that Daft Punk as far as he knew would not be touring in 2013. And (this is the interesting bit) that they would not be playing Rock Werchter as the band had stated that the band will not available at that time of the year at all due to vacation plans of the members.

So to sum it up, even if Daft Punk announces a tour later in the year, and they might be doing promotional concerts. There is 0% chance that they will play Roskilde this year.

Roskilde Festival is in Austin at the moment and so is Daft Punk - or at least Thomas Bangalter is. I'm just saying...
