Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Great to see two harder bands already here in the begining and very well-deserved to see Volbeat as not only a danish headliner but also as an international top metal headliner - not many NEW metalbands can gather such a big crowd as Volbeat!

But what do you guys hope for metal 2013? is there even any metalfans left on this forum? icon_wink.gif

My wishlist:

- Sabaton
- Wintersun
- Hell
- Some thrash (Kreator,Sylosis,Sodom)
- Some black (Gorgoroth, Marduk, Enslaved)
- some folk ( Ensiferum, Finntroll, Korpiklaani)

What do you think?

Metallica to play ...and justice for all album in full length to celebrate the 25th anniversary of it's release (although that would officially be on August 25th 2013).

Naturally. If Saturnus aren't booked next year, I'm going to be very upset and disappointed with the festival.

Seems like the most no-brainer booking in metal at all.

I also hope for Dark Tranquillity to be booked. They are working on a new album, just had to cancel a show in Denmark and have never played Roskilde.. In flames have been here, At the gates have... now we need DT

I go for Finntroll, Sylosis, Metallica and Dark Tranquility as well.

Copenhell has King and In Flames, so they`re out.

But also Havok, Suicidal Angels, Running Wild, Unisonic and Cavalera Conspiracy

Unisonic could have been great.. But I think Hansen is on tour with GammaRay in that periode.

Concerning Finntroll, have you guys listen to the new Enisferum-album?

Well, I've wanted Sonata Arctica to play the festival for a long time, but they're playing Pumpehuset in January and that'll do. icon_smile.gif

Besides them:
Metal: Wintersun, Falconer, Nightwish, Symphony X, Theocracy, vildhjarta, Between the Buried and Me, Katatonia

Whatevercore: Comeback Kid, A Day to Remember, Defeater, Heart in Hand, letlive., The Chariot, Bring Me the Horizon, Pierce the Veil, Circle Takes the Square

Also, I think it's time for some of the "older" Danish metal bands like Mercenary, Raunchy, HateSphere, Saturnus, Mnemic, etc. to play the festival again!

TESTAMENT!!!!

Greatest thrash band out there in my opinion, always liked them more the the so called big four. Dont know if they have played roskilde but it sure is a long time since last time if they have.
Their last two albums are more than great. Also wouldnt mind Havok.

I really would like to see Dream Theater at Roskilde, I think they will tour europe this summer, as they usually do every second year. I also welcome other prog bands without growling.

So far I'm very excited about Volbeat and Kvelertak (well, "blackcore"icon_wink.gif, but I'd really like to see Metallica do ...aJfA (obvoíously) and Between the Buried and Me (killer-concert this Octboer in Lille Vega).

Of course, the high-tides for me would be the alternative metal-kings, Tool and Deftones, and I'd also very much like to see Fair to Midland although I know it's more art- and prog-rock than metal (for those of you who haven't heard about them, check out the following linkicon_smile.gif

I'll join the "no-Slayer" club. I enjoy their albums, but when they visited Copenhell last year they just weren't any good.

i was just meaning people have respect wishes from other people and if Metallica will come then you can just see some another band instead. You have to think more positive and not negative

I want havent see Metallica since 2007 and i want them back for next year and i hope Roskilde will book them icon_cool.gif

And from 200 acts at Roskilde you should find something for you to see

Don t worry, be happy icon_cool.gif

It is not amather of been negativ or positive. It is amather of wished/and tast. If Metallica is book it takes a headline slots that I want another band to have.
And a forum is not about just posting I want to see X, ok, I want to see Y... if that is all we do.. let just go to facebook and post like the rest. There is more to it then that.
But yes I will see Metallica if they come, just like I watch when play all of the Black Album last summer in Horsens.. but it will make me much more happy if a big rock/metal name I have never seen before is booked so I can see a (for me)new big band
