Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Like someone in Facebook is guessing I think it could be Guns and Roses?

if you look at the 3 pictures.

1st: they have made more than 5 albums, (6 in total)
2nd: but the 6th was banned by China
3rd: Since 2011 they have revealed that yet another album will be made, but so far it hasn't been, therefore "tba" (to be announced)????

My guess is that it's a band with two albums out and one to be announced.
There's no way it's going to be Guns N' Roses.

Well, if these clues are right, it can also be Muse then:

1. They have made more than 5 albums
2. They just had to pull back the video for new single "Panic Station" due to controversy to fans in China (among other Asian countries)- http://gaffa.dk/nyhed/71749
3. They have announced they will start working on their 7th album sometime soon - http://gaffa.dk/nyhed/68920

I'd expect the band to have two albums out and one coming without an official title yet. As I see it the pictures on the covers are clues to the album titles.

Me too - just stating, that the clues can easily be interpreted to more than one name...

But Roskilde says on facebook the clue is only for one name of the 3 names

That's not what she meant.

In an interview a long time ago Rikke Øxner was asked if she ever regretted booking a specific headliner. She didn't say RHCP or something like that. Her only regret was booking Guns N Roses (Axl Rose-Guns N Roses), so I wouldn't get my hopes up. ..if someone even hopes to see Axl Rose!
I really can't remember what interview, but I'm pretty sure she said it a couple of years ago

The Roskilde admin confirmed the theory that the teaser refers to a name with two albums out and a third pending. That leaves Blur, G'n'R and many others out.

It did seem like a weird way to say "more than five albums out".

Good guessing. Also notice the words between the album covers? UNWRINKLED MALLS / TO NAIL. Switch the letters around a little, and you get the names of the members in Chase & Status.

Since the anagram fits, I'm quite sure it must be them. It's not my kind of music, but I know it will make a lot of people happy, and I expect the announcement to be a top-5 in FB-likes.

Agreed! It also fills a hole in a lacking genre at the festival, as well as a possible act on Orange. More excited about who the two other names could be though.

Good job there. That will make the drum'n'bass guys happy, a bit, I think.

Great addition! A lot of people will be happy about this, since a lot wasn't able to get in the tent when they played at Cosmopol (and they had to cut the sound to get people to stop pushing..)

I'm wondering if Chase & Status are considered one of the top tier artists Rikke Øxner was talking about. Subliner perhaps?

Given how wished for Chase and Status are, I think she can claim them to be one of the top tier artists she talked about. Besides Daft Punk it seems to be the most popular booking possible for the electronic crowd.
But I hope there is still a headliner left, and with only seven headliners so far, I'm guessing that Rikke is looking for one as well. I'm still guessing and hoping for a big mainstream rock-name.
