Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Black Keys: Open'er 2 July
Main Square 4 July
Werchter 5 July

So 3 options:

1) Big headliner on 3 July
2) Closer on 6 July
3) Not going to the festival and shame to the bookers.

There is normally a big indie/alternative subheadliner at the Arena stage Tursday so my guess is that if the black Keys will be at Roskilde it will be Thursday.

2013 Animal Collective.
2012 The Shins (not sure about this one)
2011 Foals and PJ Harwey
2010 Porcupine Tree
2009 Mew
2008
2007 Arcade Fire
2006 Deus and Sigur Ros
2005 Sonic Youth
etc etc etc.

the black keys will also be playing at Optimus Alive in Portugal and Bilbao BBK in Spain around 10-12 of july... I dont think they will go from Belgium to Denmark and then South again towards Spain...

So if there is any chance, then it must be option 1??

If they indeed come to Roskilde, you can be almost certain that they won't subheadline, but rather headline. They play nothing but the biggest stages around the world. Saw them in '11 in Göteborg at Way Out West at a stage only a little smaller than Orange Stage. They headlined that day and Blur helmed the next.

Maybe I'm just ignorant but I can honestly say that I only know them by name so I can't say if they are big enough for Orange stage or not.

But there are some big names on my list to, Sonic Youth and Sigur Ros.

Well I didn´t say that, we were comparing huge names on Arena on the opening night and i was saying that The Black Keys was in similar size as the likes of Sigur Ros but others don´t agree.

The Coachelle poster is out and Roskilde often share quite a lot of names with Coachella.

A lot of interesting names on the poster

And from that poster Outkast looks to me like a very obvious booking. And it would be a very nice booking!

Seems like OutKast are getting closer to Roskilde! They have just announced on facebook that they will be playing over 40 dates, 2 of those being Coachella. And with a pretty heavy rumor about them playing Glastonbury, I'm betting on them this year

If I could wish one band from coachella it would be Fishbone. Most crazy ass live-act combining ska, rock, funk, jazz. Would pump up such a party. And these guys can play their instruments!:
