Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

You sure?

I count 4 announcements since poster release.

Kris Kristofferson, Chase & Status, Kenton Slash Demon and Om Unit.

The two Street City acts from last week don't count because they're not a part of the official music programme. Dubioza Kolektiv and Voodoo Glow Skulls don't count either because they were already on the poster at the release day.

Could mean that there are as much as 12 acts left. Some of these are probably Apollo Countdown or Pavilion Junior names since there are too few of those atm. to fill the timeslots.

We actually won't get anymore artists for Apollo Countdown and Pavilion Junior. The Facebook admin wrote this in the comments to the released schedule of the warm-up days:

So all remaining acts will play during the festival days.

But it seems like todays announcement included 5 new bands, if you look at the news at this site:here. At least I think the five mentioned bands are new.
In that case only around 7 bands remain and maybe fever since they must be part of the same newsrelease next week.

Going by today you would expect almost all the remaining acts to be announced next week along with the full schedule. icon_biggrin.gif

Which just makes it even more exciting!
They could drop an insane headliner that day.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis was released for Bråvalla Festival, Sweden, just now. Playing 27/6.
Also The Sounds will play there on the 29th, they're old friends of Roskilde. One of their bandmembers spent 7 days in a tent camping with his friends and then played a show sunday afternoon, 2003 I think.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis played last year. So they're almost certainly not playing. The Sounds - maybe...

With Metallica added it's highly doubtful there'll be another headliner. I'm not sure I'd even expect any more subliners

I'm quite sure there will not be another headliner, Rikke has also kept her promises with 1-2 interesting names announced after the poster quite well with Chase&Status and Metallica. To think that we wondered if Kris Kristoffeersen was one of her 'Interesting names'.

There will probably be a handful of names including one smaller subliner announced next week. But nothing big.

She didn't say 1-2 "interesting" artists; that would have been a ridiculous statement. She said that they would release 1-2 artists in the "absolute top", which likely only referred to Metallica. Kris Kristoffersen and Chase & Status were just icing on the cake, so we've actually gotten three big artists since the release. Also, I'd be very impressed if we got more subliners as this year's festival already has more subliners than the past couple of years.
