Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

The Stones are apparently playing Glasto the weekend before Roskilde. I know Glastonbury works with very different budgets compared to Roskilde, but do you guys think there would a chance at all?

As long as they don't bring their old stage with them after the concert...

I think they're out of Roskilde's league economy-wise. They did a round of gigs in November and December in London and New Jersey. Ticket prices were DKK1.000 to DKK4.000. Speaks volumes about what they cost to hire. But never say never.

THE ROLLING STONES ARE BACK:
American Tour in June, around 20 shows ( source: examiner.com)
Only shows in "Europe": Glastonbury (almost confirmed) and probably two outdoor concerts in London (rumoured). From Rockerparis facebook site. Looks like only USA and UK again and No Europ tour but i was lucky to been at 7 Rolling Stones shows, 98 Copenhagen, Copenhagen and Hannover 2003, Horsens 2006, 2007 Paris, Gothenburg and Copenhagen icon_cool.gif

The only chance of seeing Rolling Stones on Orange stage would be if they felt like playing on their own old stage again for some reason, and therefore charged 4-5 times less than the usual.

The Rolling Stones don't do that many concerts anymore. Not even on a world tour. I guess they've finally realized they are too old, and that they can earn the same money doing a fifth of the shows they used to do as their fan base have grown into the fat cats they once objected to, so they can charge anything they like and people will still come.

They showed Rolling Stones´s 50 year anniversary gig in finnish TV and I have to say that I´m not that excited of them coming. Altough I´m a huge Stones fan, they just lacked all energy and were pretty awful.

But also the chances are slim. If it wasn´t for money but charity on their behalf, it could be possible.
