Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Someone from Facebook suggested Future Of The Left to the Robocup picture.

There is also a band called Ellan Road (the stadium is called Elland Road) but they have to few likes.

I'm fairly certain that the guy who suggested Julia Holter on Facebook is spot on.

It also could be Wire, since they have 25k likes too. Julia Holter or Wire, truly a win-win situation. Shame we can´t have both. And it seems the´re right about the Future of the Left too, and that sounds really good. At this rate I´ll have 100 bands I have to see...

On Wires facebook page they say this

"Here's wishing everyone a great 2014! 2014 will be a quieter year for Wire than 2013........"

So I think its Holter because the number 1 thing in the picture also suggest its her.

We continue with more names on Wednesday
Not into noisy rock or Danish nostalgia? Don’t worry. On Wednesday we dress in golden chains, sneakers and Stars and Stripes and announce an entirely different bunch of names.

It looks like Outkast to me.....icon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gif

New teaser:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151798102921706&set=a.99196301705.99302.10248811705&type=1&stream_ref=10

The smaller ones seems to be Asap ferg and Earl Sweatshirt. The larg one looks like Straight Outta Compton, so maybe they've booked Ice Cube or Dr.Dre?

No Outkast or Kanye though.

Most definitely. The only other option I can think of is The Head and the Heart, who has 227000 likes, but Warpaint makes way more sense. Interpol is on the bottom left, and then the bottom right will likely be a headliner due to the lack of Facebook likes.

If we got Interpol tomorrow then i hope we will get more fresh headliner next because then we got 2 indie headliners. We rockers and metal people want some headliners also. Not just the hipster crap bands. But i m happy with Rob Zombie but i want more good stuff.

I would rather have more hipster crap than Lame metal bands.

But seriously, whats up with your attitude.

You know that there will be all kinds of bands in the end, so why bitching when we only got 30 bands out of 160.

It was indie bands in last week, so why again this week ? Interpol are not good live. I saw them support for U2 in Paris in 2010 and i did not like Interpol live but yeah i know more bands to come. I just think all these indie bands sounds the same but that is just me.
But you look at around another festivals they got very good headliners but i think i have to wait longer time to see if Roskilde will book some good rock and metal acts.

Here in Iceland is festival and they got Neil Young. I think Roskilde should book some legend this summer also.

And i think it was better star for Roskilde Festival 2013 when we got many good rock bands.
I hope in next week we will get something awesome and big name.

So the Terminator picture is most likely Chromeo but are there any other good suggestions.

I can't stand to read 90 bullshit RATM replys on Facebook to reach the 10 useful replys.

Kavinsky seems obvious (left picture). Most known for the Drive-soundtrack, his album is called Outrun, which would explain the "game over"-text, and he has 358k likes

..and by stealing a bit from the facebook-solvers it looks like Moderat is the bottom left, Forest Swords is the top right, and Chromeo is the the one in the middle up top
