Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

I think that someone on facebook cracked the 20.000 like band.

The painting could be of the fresco type/genre and islandic Agent Fresco has 17.000 likes.

I would love to see Agent Fresco again.

The painting is not a fresco. Frescos are painted on lime plaster (kalkpuds in Danish) and 'The Matchmaker' is an ordinary canvas painting.

However, it does make use of the chiaroscuro technique. Chiaroscuro is coincidentially the title of I Break Horses' new album. They are from Sweden and has 20k likes. Win! And a very nice booking.

Aleg-One claims that he heard Deftones (!)

Other more or less credible guesses so far:

Omar Souleyman
Skambankt
Cashmere Cat
Connan Mockasin
Juana Molina

That livetake at 0:37 surely can't be too hard to figure out.
People on facebook are saying that it's U2, but can't be right.
I mean, I've suffered trought this entire video and I can't hear this line anywhere.

Yes, I think you´re right about that. I´ve got their last show somewhere and I´ve watched it a couple of times. That "thank you very much, Roskilde"-part sounds familiar.

Oh, yeah, of course. I thought this teaser was just bands that haven't been announced yet icon_rolleyes.gif

Ok, I know it is a wild guess and I proberly hear what I want to hear but at 2:52 it sounds like U2s
"love and peace or else" from rattle and hum. The whole teaser idea is also simular to u2s zooropaalbum.Check out "daddys gonna pay for your crashed car".
very funny teaser by the way!

If Darkside is true, then I'd for the first time in - wow, can't remember how long - have two electronic acts that I'd actually really like to see (Kavinsky being the other one).

And Deftones for sure! Can't wait, omfg!

The past few weeks, this poster has gone from "I-wonder-if-I-should-go" to damn fine

Sleigh Bells would be awesome! 1:25 actually sounds like Infinity Guitar but it's a pretty small audio snippet..

We maybe also need to look for a german band/artist.

I caught this conversation on Facebook, and then stalked this Kissling guy who is from Germany icon_biggrin.gif

Oliver Kissling: Is it a World Music Festival now? You forgot to walk around in Europe
Synes godt om · Svar · 5 · for 9 timer siden

Roskilde Festival: Oliver Kissling, our feet are too big. If we walked around in Europe on this map (which we did, don't worry - including your country), it would be ALL orange.

It could be Mark Ernestus but also someone new, Seeed is touring in Germany around Roskilde with free dates.

Please let it be Beatsteaks! Their concert in '11 is one of the greatest Roskilde-concerts I have been to in my five years!

I wouldn´t mind seeing LaBrassBanda again, they were aweesome the last time and heleaed the album Europa last year (the deluxe edition arrived this year) so they are very actuel.

They have a free date on Sunday, Arena closing party? icon_biggrin.gif

Beatsteaks sadly doesn´t seem to be on tour around Roskilde.
