Monday 22.03.10 Gorillaz invade Roskilde this summerPlastic Beach is set to arrive in Denmark this summer as the music of GORILLAZ (UK) invades Roskilde Festival. With songs from all three albums (Gorillaz, Demon Days and Plastic Beach), this Roskilde concert will include full production, featuring multimedia video animation, artwork and film. Plastic Beach has been hailed by critics as an artistic peak for Gorillaz – a 16-track tour de force through pop, rap, dub, soul and electronica, from east to west and further still. Gorillaz are bothculturally significant, critically admired and commercially viable, appealing to the broadest of demographics. So, it is with great pride that we can announce their only North European summer concert in 2010 – and one of only two festival concerts. Make way for pretty-but-vacant singer 2D, satanic bassist Murdoc Niccals, Japanese guitar prodigy Noodle and amiable man-mountain drummer Russel Hobbs.
