Go NorwayBy Søren Folke Time froze for a moment on Sunday afternoon in camping West when an object resembling a bomb was found by the tracks near the station. It was Norwegian Kenneth Korsrud Arnesen who found the object. He had gone out to pee when he stumbled over the bags. “It looked suspicious, so my friend and I looked inside the bags,” Kenneth Korsrud tells us. And it was not canned liver paté and lukewarm Danish pilsner that Kenneth Korsrud found in the bags. ”In one, there was a white torch with wires sticking out, and in the other there was a cardboard box and a wooden board with some computer chips on,” the hero of the day tells us. “It looked like something from a science fiction film”. However, it was not until after Kenneth Korsrud had had the ”bomb” in his own hands that he called the guards at the camp site. ”It was only when I couldn’t make out what the things were that I called the guards,” the Norwegian tells us. ”I was completely calm the whole time.” And there was not anything to be afraid of after all. After a short visit from the ”bomb babe” Rullemarie - a bomb disposal robot - it fortunately turned out to be false alarm.
