There are stripes everywhere. On the shirts, the camp flag and on the stereo. Camp of the Day is Where’s Wally, who can be found at H55. And the 15 candy striped residents will be hiding all over the site this afternoon. But we will get back to that later.

20,000 kroner camp
The camp’s 16 residents got the idea for the Wally camp last year.

“We saw Top Gun Camp who was Camp of the Year last year and thought that we could easily do better,” says Brian from the camp, who has invested quite a bit in the dream. The camp has had a budget of 20,000 DKK, out of which 5,000 have been spent on T-shirts, 6,000 on candy striped stereo and tents. And finally 9,000 DKK have gone to 120 crates of beer and 36 bottles of alcohol, including the camp’s pride and joy – a three litre bottle of Fernet Branca.

Bue, the Wizard, and pickled eel
The Wallies are led by the wizard Bue who eagerly throws spells and curses.

”I got the title because I was the most wasted yesterday,” he recounts with pride in his slightly bloodshot eyes. A mother would probably worry about the Wallies ever growing big and strong. The menu mostly consists of a liquid diet, only interrupted by dishes such as cheese pops or rum-pickled eel and mackerel.

Find Wally and win beer!
Passers-by clearly remember their childhood when they pass by the striped camp people. People very originally yell “Find Wally” while others scream “cheers”, which is immediately returned by the camp’s residents.

“We can’t walk three metres without people yelling after us. It’s great,” says Brian.

You can drop by the camp and find Wally on some of the drawings hanging around the site. But if you should recognize a “live” Wally from 3PM today, just bring him back to his camp – which is easy to find at Agora H – and you will win a beer and your very own Wally T-shirt.
