”Don’t hold your breath,” a Roskilde Festival guard commented 5 years ago, as he saw two young people snugging during a Fatboy Slim concert on Orange Stage. But the kissing couple was more than just a quick fling. Today they celebrate 5 years together.

Love Camp

This year, Ida and Roger are to be found underneath a pavilion decorated with hearts in area C.

”We met for the first time in the festival queue Sunday morning, where one of Roger’s friends was hitting on me”, Ida explains.

Later she accidentally passed by Roger’s camp, and then their destiny was sealed.

Beneath the festival dirt

Ida left Denmark to move in with Norwegian Roger in Oslo, where they live today. The 27 year old Roger at first believed that it was only a festival fling.

”But we couldn’t stop seeing each other after the festival”, he explains. Ida adds that there is a big difference between the person you meet during and after the festival.

”It's actually a pleasant surprise to discover how nice the other person looks once the festival dirt has been washed of”, the 26-year-old Ida says.

The secret basket

We will celebrate our anniversary with a basket, Ida tells.

”The contents are secret. But I’m quite sure that it will be more disgusting than delicious. Really kinky,” Ida laughs.

Roger’s comment to this is a quiet ”no, no, no” while the rest of the camp breaks into laughter.
