Airline wins group 4 at Climate World Cup

SAS is the winner and DSV the loser of group 4 at Climate World Cup. You can still participate in the tournament where you can evaluate a number of Nordic companies' green promises, win 3x2 tickets to Roskilde Festival and take a green footstep.

With the highest grade in Climate World Cup, airline company SAS is this week's clear winner. According to the users, SAS is the company in group 4 that is best in line with its climate goals. DSV lost as the group’s biggest greenwasher.

If you participate in Climate World Cup, you have a chance of winning 3x2 tickets including an exclusive tour behind the festival's sustainable stage Odeon. If you vote in three rounds, you take a green footstep and thereby come a step closer to a spot at the climate-friendly camping area at Roskilde Festival 2010, Green Bootcamp.

On to the losers’ and winners’ finals
The initial group stages have now played out in Climate World Cup where Roskilde Festival’s audience in collaboration with the organisation DanWatch find the biggest greenwasher among big, Scandinavian companies.

As the last group winner, SAS qualifies for the winners’ final where it will compete against Carlsberg, H&M and Maersk Oil about who is best in line with its climate goals.

DSV qualifies for the losers’ final where it will compete against Danish Crown, Statoil and Ikea about not becoming the biggest greenwasher in Climate World Cup.

The finals play out this week, and you can vote from 7 to 9 April.

In the final round, the companies can say what they think they do well for the climate and the environment – and what they could do better. All finalists appear in a short video clip, and then it is up to Roskilde Festival’s audience to vote for the biggest and the smallest greenwasher.

Climate World Cup is developed by DanWatch with support from Roskilde Festival.
