We continue in the absolute world-class hip hop groove. Last week we announced the young phenomenon Lil Wayne. He is not the only American hip hop star appearing on this year's poster.

KANYE WEST (US) is no longer just one of the superstars of hip hop. With 808s & Heartbreak, Kanye West seriously conquers the pop scene which he has always flirted heavily with on his earlier, melodic hip hop landmarks. The phenomenon and style icon last played on Orange Stage in 2006 – and since then he has won over a steadily growing crowd. We are happy to present yet a pop and hip hop party in American widescreen.

On the coming album Eggs the Danes are ready to prove that they are not only capable of throwing mad parties – they are also serious and skilled songwriters.

PETER SOMMER (DK) is today's epitome of sharp-edged, Danish rock lyrics. The Dane continues in the same Danish-sounding groove as old national heroes such as C.V. Jørgensen, Niels Skousen and Povl Dissing. On his latest, critically acclaimed album Til rotterne, til kragerne, til hundene, Sommer shows a new semi-electronic sound.
