Roskilde LABS invite creative mobile minds to play along

Create useful, bizarre and spot-on applications for this year’s Roskilde Festival and win tickets.

Today is the first day of Roskilde LABS’ idea competition in which you can upload your best ideas for the ultimate festival app. In Roskilde LABS the festival-goers are the ones with the ideas, the ones who develop and finally produce the apps that 130,000 festival-goers will be able to enjoy this summer.

There are a few things your app-idea must live up to:

  • You need to be able to describe your app's primary functionality within a couple of paragraphs or less.
  • Be original.
  • Think big - it is an idea contest so don't hold yourself back.
  • Include a visualization of the app-idea.

Deadline for submitting your app idea is 1 May 2013. Read more here.

The contest for the designers and programmers
Subsequently, we start the developer contest for those who want to step it up a notch and create apps for the joy of all festival-goers. You can work on an idea from the idea competition or start right from scratch. There are also Roskilde tickets up for grabs in this developer contest. The deadline for submitting the app is 1 June 2013.
