The Group will play 3 shows in The Dome at Roskilde Festival

Jägermeister and Roskilde Festival present The Group at Roskilde Festival.

The Group is a music collective, which will play 3 shows during this year’s festival in The Dome in Dream City. The Group is Casper Clausen (Efterklang), Greg Haines, Francesco Donadello, Andrea Belfi and Martyn Heyne, who all live in Berlin. The music collective will also invite some special guests from the Copenhagen music environment to join them for their shows at Roskilde. The idea behind The Group is to perform in an informal, relaxed and completely improvised way. The music has no style or genre, nor any limits.

The Group takes you inside the creative process, and the idea behind the collective’s project is to create something from nothing during their shows. It’s an insight to how music and art arise through a creative process, more than it’s a regular concerts with well-known songs. The audience is welcome to drop by for a shot of Jägermeister and a beer and let The Group provide the soundtrack until the creative and experimental process leaps into a song or a melody. It’s impossible to predict how the 3 shows will develop, since The Group’s 3 concerts are completely dedicated to the power of the creative process. Come and join us, it’s going be really interesting.

You can experience The Group in The Dome in Dream City Sunday 30 June 20.30, Monday 1 July 18.00 and Tuesday 2 July 09.30.

The Dome – Kristoffer Teglgaard

Once again, Kristoffer Tejlgaards plywood dome will be raised in Dream City. And once again everything is recycled - even the screws - for some of them it will be their third year in the Dome. Architect Christopher Tejlgaard creates a space where the festival guests can be inspired and relax. The scene from 2012 is retained, and Zetland Live, The Authorship and the video installations will occupy the Dome this year.
