The food event programme is ready. Bon appetit!

Once again we are offering a food programme chock-full of different food experiences, pop-up restaurants, urban gardens and even a social piece of food-furniture! You will definitely try something new, if you go exploring among this year’s food events.

Have you ever thought about how colours affect the taste of your food? Or maybe eaten a potency giving four course meal? This year, you have the chance, when we invite you to food experiences that will leave you full in several ways. Here, the tasty meal is also about challenging our understanding of how a meal is put together.

At the long tables in the Stables by Gloria, you can, among other things, enjoy classic festival camp food in new interpretations, or you can go on a different picnic in natural surroundings.

Your can also get your hands on all the organic vegetables, when FoodJam open the civic kitchen in City Centre East. Here, you can make a delicious organic meal for yourself, for only 50 DKK.

Or, you can visit Økokalaset in Dream City, where you, in company with other festival goers, can cook a six course brunch or a luxurious dinner, which you can enjoy at the communal table afterwards.

Visit Dream City and climb the food furniture in Art Zone, where the hostesses serve meals from the drawers.

End your journey at the event stage by the Judge's Tower in Gloria Zone, where you e.g. can participate in the open sandwich workshop “battle of the sandwiches”, cook food from surplus products from supermarkets and get the creeps at the insect workshop.

Check out the entire food events and food art programme and read about where to get tickets here.

How about some bugs for lunch? Or maybe you'd like to try eating out of furniture? Treat and challenge your taste buds at Roskilde Festival 2014.
