Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band make Orange Donation with Roskilde Festival
Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band and Roskilde Festival make a donation to the charity organisation Caritas. This donation is in the long standing tradition of The Roskilde Festival Charity Society.

Every year Roskilde Festival makes a donation to a charity organization together with an artist. In Caritas Denmark, they were happy with the news of the donation of 1.5 million DKK.

“We are very honoured that Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band have pointed to Caritas Denmark as the recipient of a 1.5 million DKK donation from Roskilde Festival. Many thanks to the festival and to last year’s guests for this great gift, says Secretary General Jan Sjursen.”

Caritas is one of the world’s largest humanitarian organizations with chapters in 167 countries. Orange Donation is where music and charity meets.

“It is amazing to experience the support from the artists when they are chosen to select a project or an organization to receive the donation from The Roskilde Festival Charity Society. In Orange Donation, music and charity go hand in hand, and it is very much in the spirit of the festival,” says Steen Jorgensen, Chairman of the Roskilde Festival Charity Society. Each year the entire profit of the festival is donated to charity and cultural projects.
