Roskilde hot-dog is the best in the country

Organic butcher Henrik Wiberg has won an award for his tasty hot-dog.

"Sausages with meat", says the sign on Henrik Wiberg's custom-built hot-dog cart at this year's Roskilde Festival.

The organic butcher – who is also known as the Sausage Pusher – sold organic, additive-free sausages. Wrapped in a bread rich in fibres and with lines of mustard and ketchup and home-made toasted onions on top it completes the recipe for the very best hot-dog in Denmark.

The words do not only come from the sausage pusher himself – they are backed by an award that puts Henrik Wiberg in front of all other Danish hot-dog sellers.

The organic sausage pusher has won the award as 'Hot-Dog King of the Year 2009' at Danish newspaper Børsen's Hotdog Challenge.

No wonder the officially best Danish hot-dog was so popular at Roskilde Festival. Hungry festival-goers bought no less than 8500 hot-dogs this year.

Roskilde Festival congratulates Henrik Wiberg with his award and hope to see more award-winning hot-dogs at future festivals.
