How long have you been with the Roskilde Festival?
Our food staal is one of the oldest at the Roskilde festival, since 1983 we have served delicious organic vegetarian food to the always hungry festival people.

This year we have had help from Tina Scheftelowitz (author of the "Supreme"cookbook series) to make our food even more outstanding! So you can look forward to including "The happy stomach porridge" with fresh strawberries and chocolate, "Chili sin carne" and of course the Golden bean legendary falafel in pita bread, spiced up with tahindressing and pointed cabbage salad with fresh herbs - all made from scratch with fresh, organic, Danish ingredients.
What is the best and worst thing about having good the Roskilde Festival?
We look forward every year to get started again and this year is the 86-man crew ready for a super festival.
Where can I find you at this year's festival?
The Golden Bean is on the Odeon area, same place as the last 4 years.

Tune Sports Club - Tokyo
What does the Roskilde Festival mean to you?
The festival means a great deal to us. We are a small handball club, and it is important that we try to earn money for the club, in different ways.
We are not more than about 40 staff members in the stand, so you get to know all the people there during the festival. It is a social gathering point, and people return year after year. One of the volunteers has worked in the stand for 22 years. We have a fantastic sense of community in our back area, and we can therefore always persuade people to take an extra shift.
For how many years have you had a stand at the Roskilde Festival?
We have been on Roskilde since 1990, so this is our 23rd year.
Describe your assortment in five words
Our range is, as our name “Tokyo” suggests, Japanese. We serve both warm dishes for the cold evenings and sushi for the hangover stricken.
What is your most popular dish?
Our most popular dish is a curry dish with meat (It's worth knowing, that it has been on our menu since the very beginning).
What is the best and the worst part of having a stand at the Roskilde Festival?
The best part is the social element, the funny and good customers who also return year after year. Recognising the stand, the assortment and the staff when we approach the week before the festival. But best of all is to see the same people having a good time before, during and after their shifts.
The worst part is, that the demands are ever increasing, and it can be difficult for a small sports club, such as us, to live up to. “damn it, damn it, damn it” is what we think when the weather is bad. You really feel the bad weather as a stand. On earnings, mood and everything.
Where can you be found at the Roskilde Festival?
We are located in Orange West, and you can recognise us by the red t-shirts, the red floor and the sushi sign.

Farmors Tarteletter - Grandma's Patty Shells
What does the Roskilde Festival mean to you?
The Roskilde Festival is, as you know, the coolest festival in Denmark – it is where everything happens in rock music. By the way, this also applies to festival food, so we are honoured to serve such choosy and well-accustomed guests. It is the ultimate challenge for people like us to be allowed to be part of this whole thing.
What are you looking mostly forward to this festival?
We are looking forward to being in the middle of the good atmosphere. We are, of course, super exited to see how we will be received and to see if people like what we are doing. We have made an effort to cook good food, to have a great stand, and we want loads of guests, so that we can contribute to the party.
Describe your assortment in five words
Grandma-food is great with beer!!!!
What do you expect to be your most popular dish?
We are counting on patty shells with chicken and asparagus in creamy sauce being a huge hit.
Where can you be found at the Roskilde Festival?
We are on the food app, and we are located in the southern barn by the Gloria stage.

Mummbai
What does the Roskilde Festival mean to you?
Being able to build a giant food stand, in the middle of an empty grass field is the ultimate challenge for us. Every year, we are looking forward to get started, and are happy to be part of all the great experiences that exist for the guests.
For how many years have you had a stand at the Roskilde Festival?
4 years.
Describe your assortment in five words:
Cheap, extremely tasty, fast service, home cooked and healthy.
What is your most popular dish?
Without a doubt, the Chicken Tikka Masala...but the breakfast is quite good as well!
What is the best and the worst part of having a stand at the Roskilde Festival?
The worst part is that you barely get to sleep more than 3-4 hours a day, for 10 days in a row... The best part is being with all the volunteers in the stand – they rock!
Where can you be found at the Roskilde Festival?
Camping east – city centre – look for the Indian guy!
