The ambition is to give the disabled – with or without helpers – the opportunity to participate in Roskilde Festival on approximately the same conditions, as any other festival guest.
Disabled people can bring helpers to the festival for free – but only you've applied about this before the deadline 10 June 2014. The disabled guest must purchase a Roskilde Festival ticket ordinarily.
In addition to offering free access for helpers, Roskilde Festival offers a campsite for the disabled. We offer power for various aids, disabled bathing facilities and the opportunity to stay overnight in the relatively quiet environment.
At the HandiCamp you also find Ryttergården where you can get a much needed rest in a separate bed. Ryttergården is unmanned this year. HandiCamp guards are in charge of supervision and will assist with any questions or access to Ryttergården.
Recharger facilities at HandiCamp
We also offer a recharger tent where you can recharge your wheelchair or other vital aids if you stay at HandiCamp or have an agreement with us in advance.
If you have any questions about the handicap service, you can contact us at handicapservice@ or call +45 roskilde-festival.dk5158 7560
+65 access for disable guests with helpers
If you are +65 years old with a disability, arrives without a helper and wants to visit the festival on Sunday, all you need to do is bring your ID and use the regular entrances like every other festival guest.
If you wish to bring a helper, you need to go to HandicapService who will give you and your helper festival wristbands. Please notice that you don’t have to apply for your helper when you’re +65 and disable.
HandicapService is located at Teknisk Skole. The address is Pulsen 2, 4000 Roskilde.
