HANDICAP SERVICE
The ambition is to give the disabled – with or without helpers – the opportunity to participate in Roskilde Festival on approximately the same conditions, as any other festival guest.
Helpers
Disabled people can bring helpers to the festival for free. The disabled guest must purchase a Roskilde Festival ticket ordinarily.
Handicap camping
You can camp at a special handicap area where we offer power supply for any remedies, special bathing facilities, and you can sleep in a rather calm area.
Ryttergården
At the festival, there is a centrally situated location (called Ryttergården) where you can get your wheelchair recharged, rest and more. Service personnel is available with answers for any questions.
FAQ about Handicap Service at Roskilde Festival
How do I get a ticket for the festival?
You buy a regular festival ticket, just like everyone else. Buy your ticket.
If you need to bring a helper, you should apply through our application form - see below.
How can I bring my helper?
We put in an application form on the website around 1 May each year. You have to fill it out and send it back to handicapservice@roskilde-festival.dk
Who should I contact if I am going to the festival as handicapped or as help for a disabled person?
If you have been to the festival within the last two years, you don’t need to do anything; we will send an e-mail to everyone who has been here in 2011 and 2012, and are listed on our mailing list.
If you have any questions about the handicap service, you can contact us at handicapservice@roskilde-festival.dk
