Take the bus or train straight to the festival area.

In the festival period, trains are departing on a regular basis from Copenhagen Central Station to Roskilde Station. From here shuttle buses and train connections go directly to the festival area. Buses depart directly to the festival from many destinations in Denmark and abroad.

The normal bus service
If you choose to arrive before Saturday 29 June, our shuttle buses are not yet operating at this time. We recommend that you use public transport - the normal bus service also stops by the festival area.

Take the bus directly to Roskilde Festival

Rideshare
If you choose to arrive by car, we encourage you to share your ride. It is by far the most environment-friendly. So fill the car. If you are into making new friends, saving money and getting special parking options, check out the Roskilde Rideshare.

Have others arranging the trip for you
For those attending the festival from outside of Denmark, or those who want to attend but don’t want to camp, Festicket has crafted a number of flexible ticket and hotel packages to suit all tastes and budgets. 

Travel during the festival
If you want to visit the town of Roskilde, you can easily go there by bus or train. The transport starts right from the festival area and on to the center of Roskilde town.

Going home
When it is time to return home after a successful festival, we have some great offers if you have not bought a return ticket in advance.

You can buy train tickets for the ride home from Roskilde Festival's own train station located at camping West.

If you are going by bus, you can buy a ticket at entrance East and entrance West. Here tickets are avaliable for destinations in Norway, Sweden and Germany. You can also take the bus -  it drives you from our bus stop and straight to Copenhagen.
