We open the entrances to the campsite on Saturday 29 June 2013 at 18:00. To ensure a smooth opening we use 5 entrances.

So if you want to enter the campsite early on Saturday 29 June you’ll have to book the entrance you wish to use.

The entrance booking system will ensure that everybody will be equally divided at all entrances, helping you faster into the campsite.

Remember that no matter which entrance you choose to book, you’ll still have access to all areas. We’re expecting that everybody will be let in through the entrances in a short time, but it requires that you guys help us.

If you don’t wish to book an entrance in advance, you’ll have access to the campsite as soon as the “bookers” are in and the temporary waiting areas have been removed.

If you are planning to arrive at a later point (e.g. after Sunday morning), don't give entrance booking another thought. You won't need it.

Booking an entrance
If you and your camp are planning to set up your camp as early as possible, we recommend that you book an entrance to the campsite when buying your ticket. This gives you access to the campsite from Saturday 29 June at 18:00.

If you wish to change your choice of entrance or you forgot to book an entrance with your ticket purchase, you can do so for a fee of DKK 20. Go to Billetlugen - and choose an entrance. You’ll have a print@home ticket sent to your e-mail.

8,000-13,000 people per. entrance
Every entrance has a max. capacity and can therefore be closed for further bookings. Below you can see the capacity of the 5 entrances:

• East 1: 11,000
• East 2: 9,000
• South 1: 13,000
• West 1: 11,000
• West 2: 9,000
  

Please note, since it’s possible to change your choice of entrance, entrances can open for new bookings again, even though they have been sold out previously.

Your festival starts when you have your wristband on
When you arrive at your entrance, the service guards will ask for your booking ticket and thereby ensure that everybody enters through the entrance they have booked. Have you arrived at the wrong entrance, the service guards can guide you to the right one.

When the entrances open Saturday 29 June 2013, we’ll provide you with a temporary wristband which will be valid until Tuesday 2 July 2013 at 12:00. When you’re all settled you can go to one of the ticket offices in East or West and change the temporary wristband to a real Roskilde Festival wristband.

Make sure to do so before Tuesday at noon as you’ll get a DKK 3500 fine if you don’t have a wristband on at the campsite after this time.

Arrive on Saturday – not before
We don’t recommend that you arrive before Saturday. We don’t provide any special service at the entrances as well as it’s not allowed to camp in the area. However, it’ll be possible to use toilets and drink water. We recommend you to get a good night’s sleep and arrive fresh on Saturday ready for a full week of festival fun.
