Tickets

How much is a Roskilde Festival ticket?
Until 28 February 2013 a Full Festival Ticket is DKK 1790. After this date the price on our Full Festival Ticket will be DKK 1890. If you want to visit Roskilde Festival for one day only we have one-day tickets for DKK 950 (except Thursday which is DKK 650). If you go to ticket in the top bar you’ll have a full overview of the different tickets and add-ons.

What is included in the ticket?
You get 8 days full of experiences! You’ll have access to one of the world’s most unique music and art festivals with more than 200 acts on 8 stages and lots of art and performance experiences – some of them made by the festival-goers. You can set up your tent for free in our climate-friendly festival city where you have access to a swimming lake, a cinema and a skate park, among other things. All of Roskilde Festival’s profit is donated to humanitarian and cultural purposes, so you’re also supporting children and youngsters all over the world when you buy a ticket.

How many tickets do you put up for sale?
In 2013 we put 78,500 Full Festival Tickets and 5,000 one-day tickets (per day) up for sale.

Why does the ticket increase with DKK 100 from 1 March 2013?

The 1790 DKK price on our Full Festival Ticket is the same price as in 2012. Make sure to buy your ticket before 1 March 2013 if you want it at this price. On this date we’ll raise the price with 100 DKK to cover our increased expenses due to the inflation and to cover the expenses due to our increase in service at the festival (e.g. more toilets and trash cans). We donate all of our profit to charity and every year we have to start all over again from scratch so the sooner you buy your ticket the bigger the chance that we can pay our bills. If you want to take it a step further and make an extraordinary donation, you can choose the “Make An Even Bigger Difference” ticket. With this ticket you donate DKK 100 directly to charity through The Roskilde Festival Charity Society.

Will Roskilde festival be sold out?

We hope so! And in keeping with tradition, we’ll let you know when we’re close to being sold out.

My ticket has disappeared. Can I use a copy of the ticket instead?

A copy of a lost ticket is NOT usable. The ticket must be cancelled and a new one issued. Our ticket vendor Billetlugen provides this service. It is not difficult, but costs DKK 100 + 20.

I bought a ticket from a person in Norway. When I arrived at Roskilde Festival, I was told that the ticket had already been used. How can that be?

If a person can show a receipt of purchase and a photo ID of the person who bought the ticket (i.e. a personal appearance), this will cancel the previously issued ticket and a new ticket will be printed.
It is normal procedure and one of the reasons that we always warn people against buying a ticket from private sellers. If you do, you should always, as an absolute minimum, ask to see photo ID of the person you are buying the ticket from, so that you afterwards can contact them, if, as with the case here, they have cheated you!

I live in Sweden and would like to buy a ticket to Roskilde Festival 2013 - what do I do?
You can buy your ticket through www.biljettforum.se or www.billetlugen.dk.

What do I do if I haven’t received my ticket in the post?
If you haven’t received your ticket by post, the ticket vendor Billetlugen can print a new ticket for you at no extra cost or risk to you as a customer. The new ticket will have a new barcode. The old ticket will be cancelled and can no longer be used to get into the festival. Please contact Billetlugen, no longer than five working days after your purchase, if you haven’t received your ticket. If you contact Billetlugen after more than five working days your ticket will be considered lost after reception and you will have to pay to get a new ticket. If you lose your ticket after receiving it, you have to pay a fee for reprinting your ticket. The handling fee for reprinting a lost ticket is DKK 100 plus DKK 20 per ticket. This means that reprinting two tickets costs DKK 140. When the reprinting of tickets has been carried out, it is not possible to cancel the reprinting as the original tickets are annulled and can no longer be used.

I won’t be using my tickets anyway. Can I get a refund?
No, purchase of tickets is not subject to any right of return. If you are unable to attend Roskilde Festival, Billetlugen are not able to help you. Tickets will only be refunded if Roskilde is cancelled, which we don’t expect to happen.
Danish legislation does not give any right of refund on tickets. Read Billetlugen’s Sales and Delivery Conditions for further information. It is, however, legal to resell tickets as long as they are not sold for more than the amount you paid for them.

What do I do if my tickets have disappeared?

You can contact Billetlugen customer service on +45 70 263 267. They can help you with a reprint of your tickets. Their customer service is open between 10:00 and 17:00 every weekday. Have the phone number you ordered your tickets with ready so we can quickly find you in the system.

My ticket has been stolen. Can I enter the festival anyway?

Yes, you can. If you contact Billetlugen before the festival starts, we can reprint the ticket for you. At the same time we also cancel the ticket that you have lost. Since all barcodes are unique, the ticket thief will not be able to get in with the stolen ticket. Remember to bring photo ID if you pick up the ticket in person at Billetlugens office. You have to pay a cancellation fee of DKK 100 + DKK 20 in service charges for the new ticket. If you have had your ticket stolen, you can report it to your insurance company as some insurance companies reimburse your costs for a new ticket.

Why is my credit card declined at Billetlugen.dk?

It could be due to the fact that you must be located in the country from where your credit card is issued to pay your ticket at Billetlugen.dk. Try another credit card or use bank transfer. If you still have problems with the payment you're welcome to contact Billetlugen.

Why do I pay a fee to Billetlugen?
When you buy tickets through Billetlugen, you will find that fees have been added to the price of your ticket. It is of course debatable whether Billetlugen fees are high or low, but compared with fees charged by foreign ticket companies, Billetlugen fees are pretty low. Billetlugen always endeavours to make it both easy and cheap to buy tickets and also offers personal service to those customers who need it. Billetlugen’s only earnings on tickets are from the fees.
Buying a ticket includes one or more of the following fees:

  • Administrative fee: DKK 20 per ticket must always be paid - regardless of how and where the ticket is purchased. The administrative fee covers all Billetlugen services for ticket sales (ticketing system, website, customer service, etc.).
  • Shipping fee: DKK 20 per purchased ticket to be paid if you choose to have the tickets sent to you by Post Danmark. If the tickets are sent abroad, the cost is DKK 35. The fee covers packing, postage and any reprints if the letter gets lost in the post.
  • Card fee: All ticket sales made online via billetlugen.dk or Billetlugen Call Centre include a card fee. The card fee depends on which card is used and the amount. The card fee covers the cost of the card issuer and the transaction made via online purchase.
  • Service fee: DKK 15 per booking. This fee is payable if you buy tickets through Billetlugen Call Centre or in one of the Danish FONA stores. The service fee covers the cost of personnel and can be avoided if tickets are purchased online via billetlugen.dk.

Where can I buy a children’s ticket - I cannot find it on Billetlugen?
