Talking about Sonisphere... I can't believe either Roskilde or CopenHell has grabbed Anthrax yet. Legendary band that cancelled their last show in Denmark, and hasn't played for several years... I don't even think they'd be that expensive.

You are so right. Even though I haven't seen them been confirmed for other festivals than Sonisphere? Maybe they've signed a contract for "only Sonisphere gigs" this year

Well, with that wonderful aircraft of theirs it's not completely impossible, and there is a 3 day gap between June 30th and July 3rd. But the chances look very slim indeed. Though if the graspop rumour is true, there's still a very tiny chance.
But they are not gonna use it this summer. They will take it out early 2011 when visiting Oz, South America, Japan ETC.

Just forget about it. They're in Canada and USA and won't fly to Roskilde for a single concert. That would cost some extra millions I suppose... try three times more than a regular show 
But it would be worth every penny 
eeeeh NO? for that cash you can see them anywhere in Europe plus the trip, like sonisphere in Stockholm for example.
But I would be happy if there is a miracle and they're booked
I am seeing them at Sonisphere in Stockholm 
I hope we get more European shows this summer, close to Denmark. It will be my first time seeing them since i saw them in August 2008 in Athens so my hunger for IM is HUGE!!

Oh well, so definitely not gonna happen. Might as well buy my ticket for the Bergen show right away, then.

Yeah. I wish i could go there as well. Heaven & Hell is supporting IM in Bergen!

You didn't read the thread – Maiden is in the States at the time of Roskilde. I guess you can still hope for STP though...
