Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

They are performing in Italy on Saturday so i´m guessing that they will be the big opening headliner on Thursday and performing from around 20:30-21:00 to midnight because they normally do very long concerts.

Agree!
This booking is so good for Roskilde! I was afraid that Northside would overrun Roskilde this year, but with the booking of The Cure Roskilde shows they still got it!!!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the announcement this morning!
I have been ecstatic all day - this is by far the best announcement this year.

The Cure has aged very well as a band. For the last few years, they've been focusing on performing older material, and as much of it was the inspiration for later alternative bands, it still holds up very well. I just wish Porl was still touring with the band.

Perhaps enough to get me to Roskilde from the US again.... icon_wink.gif

Crazy headlining material so far... Roskilde is more than making up for the lousy line-up last year.

Spot on. If they keep this up, I'm sure we'll be looking at one of the strongest line-ups in a long time. Let's hope they do.

What happened to RF's 'no Mastodants wanted' policy? Did it go out the window when these bands became available, or did they realize that they need experience at Orange?

So looking forward to this.
Bestival last year was great and the Reflections shows were mind blowing.
Good to see them back here after all these years ^ hope to have a load of our members show up.

I don't care what they did, I'm just happy about all the great bands so far

when does the rest of the lineup usually come out? I feel like when they added Prince it was only a couple months before the fest. Does Roskilde usually just trickle it out like that?

Yep, this is how it normally goes.

Usually they announce 3 bands on wednesdays (not every w though). They might be announced on other days too, but the main day is around April 15th, when there´s about 70-80 new bands. After that there´s only few more. So you get a good perspective of what´s playing in mid-April (though if I remember correctly Prince was announced after the main day in 2010).
