Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

I'm looking forward to find out what they're all about. That's pretty much what you're getting from me so far.
(You have "spelled" tUnE-YarDs wrong in your headline btw icon_wink.gif)

FF is gonna be a party. I like "Bizness" from tune-yards, but that's about the only thing I've been listening to by her.

Tune-Yards is brilliant, she's a very nice addition. Saw her some months ago in Aarhus. She's very cool and extremely talented. It's quite impressive how she, when live, starts every song by making the weird choirs you also hear on the records. She is so weird, funny looking and so inspiring. a perfect addition.

I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!! I love Friendly Fires to bits. They were brilliant in 2009 in the Odeon, I've listened to their music ever since and all I can think about right now is holding a cold Tuborg in my hand watching them play 'Paris' icon_biggrin.gif

I've really tried giving Friendly Fires a chance the last year, and while they do have some solid tunes, most of their songs sound like fillers to me. Tune-Yards (not gonna try to spell it the other way and fail) on the other hand, sounds very promising. I've never heard it before, but I'm liking the stuff on myspace.

You should definitely watch some of their live videos on YouTube!
Do that and you won't miss their show next year.
