Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Previous major football events have been televised via a bigscreen in the camping area.

It's pretty likely that they'll make similar arrangements next year, I'd say, though nothing is of course set in stone. There's also a couple of sports bars in Roskilde town, where it may be possible to watch the game.

Actually, we're starting warm-up on 30 June in 2012. We're trying to get permission to show the final like we've done previously. We know that lots of lots of people are interested in watching it.

I think it was in 2002 that RF had the huge outdoor cinema in the West camping along the fence near the tracks.

It was beautiful! Enough space for everyone, movies like Lord of the Rings at night and world cup with lots of people getting together.

Hope something similar can be done this year.

How about rigging up a huge screen in the swim lake. ?

The huge screen at camping west worked fine at the last world cup in 2010.

Gutted we'll only be able to watch the final at Roskilde. Being English there's categorically no chance of us making it that far icon_frown.gif.

There was a great atmosphere during the 2010 WC matches - the best of which was England v Germany if I do say so myself icon_cool.gif

you'll have to work 40 extra hours as a volounteer if you want to watch football, Christina Bilde said... "it's not how many hours you work, it's more how much you want to see the finals that matters...."

While you may have a point hidden underneath your gibberish, it is bad forum netiquette and very childish to hijack a thread that has nothing to do with the new volunteer rules to try and sway the opinion. Go discuss the volunteer rules in your own thread. Or use this one: http://roskilde-festival.dk/forum/mm_forum_pi1/posts/roskilde_babble/volunteers_need_to_work_8_hours_more_than_last_year/
