Best audience photo 2011 has been found

The (festival) world is turned upside down in Joshua Mouatt’s photo, which has won the most votes in this year's photo competition.

We now have a winner in this year's competition for best audience photo. In the past week, the audience have voted for their favourite photo(s). So, the winning photo is fully decided by the audience.

The winning photo is the most abstract of all received images. As you can see in the gallery below, it shows passing festival guests, caught and mirrored through a puddle.

It should be said that the festival was not particularly rain-stricken. However, on Saturday evening we experienced a cloudburst for one intense hour. The winning picture is probably taken immediately after.

Congratulations to the photographer, Joshua Mouatt, who wins a ticket to next year's festival.

The runner-up is Robert Babekuhl’s photo of the discreetly nude camp (see second picture below). We have no idea what is going on, but the picture captures a perfect example of Roskilde madness, so this photo gets an honourable mention and the photographer gets a 2012 ticket.

Thanks to everyone who has submitted photos and who voted on the finalists.

Moving on to motion pictures. The competition for best audience film of the year has started. Submit your film or help or help us pick the winner.
