Monday 05.10.09 Brand-new star duo formed at Roskilde FestivalNumerous exciting relationships begin at Roskilde Festival. Also between performing artists. Danger Mouse saw James Mercer from The Shins play a concert at Roskilde Festival in 2004 – and shortly after the two artists found out that they wanted to work together. “As soon as I heard the Shins, I wanted to do something with James, no matter what,” Danger Mouse says to music magazine Rolling Stone. The result is Broken Bells – an exciting, new collaboration betwen the two central figures on the US alternative music scene.
