Each year after Roskilde Festival, we start the competition for audience photo of the year. It is one of our favourite competitions because we receive loads of wonderful pictures taken from the right perspective, the audience’s.

This year’s photo catch amounts to about 800 pictures, and it has been a great pleasure to look through them all.

Two winners

It has also been very difficult to choose one photo as the best one. Therefore, we’ve chosen two winning photos this year.

The two winning photos are both shot among the numerous tents at the camp site. That is probably also the only thing they have in common.

• Ivan Boll has captured two lads heading towards the water with a rubber dinghy. The passenger’s fingers, pointing triumphantly towards the sky, radiate that wonderful energy that is Roskilde Festival.
• Christoffer Rosenfeldt has visited a camp with some sort of carnival-esque – but very Roskilde-fied – activity. The amusement and madness defy the threatening clouds, and once again we have a unique piece of Roskilde Festival.
