Get A Tent
The tents are made in limited editions. After the festival the tent is yours to keep. See the map for location.
When you buy your festival ticket for 2012, you can buy additional services. This includes Get A Tent. This means that you get two tickets – your regular festival ticket and your Get A Tent ticket.
If you already have a ticket and have not discovered Get A Tent before now, you can purchase a pitched tent in a separate purchase from 1 March 2012 and onwards. Until 1 March Get A Tent is only available for purchase when you buy your regular festival ticket.
You can buy two types of Get A Tent tickets.
- With SMALL you get a 2-person tent (210 x 210 cm) and free access for one person to hot showers.
Price: DKK 560 (does not include festival wristbands)
- With LARGE you get a 4-person tent (440 x 220 cm) and free access for two persons to hot showers.
Price: DKK 1060 (does not include festival wristbands)
With a Get A Tent ticket you can arrive when you please. The tent is here waiting for you. If you want to be here from the very start, we aks you to go directly to the Get A Tent camp site that is open from Saturday 30 June at 18:00. You do not need to exchange your festival ticket to a wristband first. Once you're settled we ask you to go get your festival wristband.
The tents are distributed on a running basis as the festival guests arrive at the Get A Tent area. If you are a group of people who wish to camp together at the Get A Tent area, this is possible only if you arrive at the same time.
You do not need a special wristband to get access to the area. Everybody with a regular festival wristband has access, so you are welcome to invite other festival guests on a visit. You are also welcome to share your tent with others. You are not allowed to pitch your own tents in the area. The area is reserved exclusively for Get A Tent tents.
Alternative camping options
Besides getting a pitched tent you can live in a caravan, bring your motorcycle or buy a camping gear package and avoid the troubles of bringing tent, mattress and sleeping bag. Read more about the possibilities in the other submenus.
