A bike ride is a wonderful thing and on top of that it is good for your body and the environment. So if you want to arrive at the festival with rosy checks and a clean consciousness then maybe you should consider going by bike to your first Roskilde Festival.

A bike excursion is a great collective group activity. So if you have already found your camp mates, then convince them to ride their bikes to the festival along with you. It is a great way to bond and you will be able to share carrying the heavy stuff or drawing the bike trailer. If you decide to join Green Footsteps festive bicycle ride on Saturday 25 June you can even get you luggage transported for free. At the entrance to the campsite you can find several places to park your bike. You are also allowed to take your bike with you at the campsite but you will have to leave it behind when going to concerts as it is not allowed at the festival area.

A bike can also be practical when you want to go to Roskilde city. There are approximately 3 kilometers from the campsite to the city center.
