We offer parking for festival-goers who come by car. Parking is generally free, but if you want to park close to the entrances, it requires a parking ticket.

Derfor er der parkeringsarealer ved Roskilde Festival. Kun her må du parkere din bil. Overnatning i personbil er under ingen omstændigheder tilladt.

We always recommend our audience to use public transport. However, we also understand the need for some to come by car. Therefore, we have parking areas at Roskilde Festival. Only here can you park your car. Sleeping in a vehicle is under no circumstances allowed.

Buy a parking ticket if you want to park up close

The parking areas are have been moved away in favour of camping areas.

The exception is two areas close to entrance East and West, respectively. If you want to park up close, you have to pay DKK 415 (approx. € 55) on arrival. If you buy in advance the price is DKK 365 DKK (approx. € 49) for the entire festival period.

Parking areas are located more specifically on Vor Frue Hovedgade (across from entrance East), south of camping area P (Kamstrupvej) and on Darupvej by entrance West.

The free parking lots are located south of the festival area in Darup.

All parking areas are open around the clock from Friday 29 June at 15:30 to Monday 9 July at 15:00.

Parking as an add-on ticket

When you buy your festival ticket for 2012, you can buy additional services. This includes parking. This means that you get two tickets – your regular festival ticket and your parking ticket.

If you already have a ticket and have not discovered this parking option before now, you can purchase a parking ticket in a separate purchase from 1 March 2012 and onwards. Until 1 March parking tickets are only available for purchase when you buy your regular festival ticket.
