Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Hello Everyone!

First time this year at Roskilde. Me and my girlfriend are coming from Belgium for one day at the festival, hoeray! Afterwards we drive further to Norway.

The idea is to camp at the "caravan camping" with our van. But I'm not sure if our van will be allowed.
We're driving with a "Volkswagen Transporter T5". Inside a fixed/permanent bed is installed.
Some photos here:

The van is also equipped with a permanent fire extinguisher, but it is just the small one at the front seats. Is that sufficient?

Can anyone tell us if we will be allowed?

Thanks a lot in advance!

greetings, Jan

I guess your van is alright. But you need an extra caravanticket to be allowed to camp at the caravan sight. I don't remember the price but it's around 350 dkk. Which is really expensive if you're gonna stay just one night. Last year they sold out in the beginning of june.

Otherwise the caravan camping is great and a good place to stay. Lots of people in various ages and lots of partying!

If the van is fitted with a matress in the back, it's allowed in the caravan camp with a ticket.

Note that it is illegal to sleep in your car, van or caravan in Denmark if you're not on a camping site.

Hey Jan

Perfectly fine. Only demands are that the van is a closed vehicle and that is has a permanent fire extinguisher which has to be mounted somewhere. The front seat would be fine.
