Thanks to the effort from our volunteers and audience, Roskilde Festival can now make another donation to charity. This year, Roskilde Festival had a humanitarian focus on refugees and asylum-seekers in Scandinavia, and over EUR 540,000 has been donated over the year.

Roskilde Festival Charity Society has chosen to donate DKK 500,000 (approx. EUR 67,000) to eight different organisations in Norway and Sweden, all working for better conditions for refugees and asylum-seekers. The organisations have been chosen with the help of our Norwegian and Swedish audience who was asked to suggest organisations that could use a helping hand.

The chosen organisations all work in a field varying from medical care and legal advice to creating awareness about the conditions asylum-seekers live under, and to create networks where they can find support and help.
