Catalan reggaeton star returns to Roskilde Festival with new album and a stunning show

"One frisky Latin banger after another," wrote The Guardian about Bad Gyal's debut album La Joia, which truly made the Catalan singer a global phenomenon in 2024. The same year, Bad Gyal performed at Roskilde Festival, where the summer evening was also ripe with irresistible Latin bangers. In 2026, the singer will return to the festival with a brand-new album, so you should definitely start warming up.

Because there will be dancing when Bad Gyal unfolds her sweaty and sensual universe of reggaeton, dancehall, and pop, where there is room for heavy bass, club beats, and languid ballads that resonate in both the body and the heart.

Bad Gyal began attracting attention in 2016 with a series of singles and the release of Slow Wine Mixtape, and since then she has grown into a megastar in her home country, with her singles routinely topping the charts. Internationally, too, people quickly took notice of her talent. In 2017, Fact magazine named her single "Jacaranda" the song of the year.

Since her visit to Roskilde Festival in 2024, she has only grown in popularity with a series of strong singles, a documentary on Amazon Prime, and, not least, the large-scale Bikini Badness Tour, which has demonstrated her stature as a live artist in a colorful tour de force of show and music with lots of dancers, lavish visuals, and a string of danceable Latin bangers. It's going to be a hot summer at Roskilde Festival!
