The verdict was unanimous from the critics when rapper Little Simz performed at Roskilde Festival in 2022. Her show was declared “world-class” by Gaffa and “a show of strength” by Soundvenue, earning the maximum six stars from both media.

Since that outstanding concert, many have longed to see Little Simz return to Roskilde Festival – not only because she has proved to be an exceptional match for the festival, but also because she continues to evolve as an artist and raise the bar for innovative hip-hop. Most recently on her sixth album, Lotus, released in 2025 to standing ovations. On her most personal and uncompromising work to date, Little Simz transforms anger, doubt and reconciliation into exquisite art with rare clarity, rapping over strings, jazz rhythms and cinematic beats.

Little Simz draws inspiration from hip-hop icons such as Lauryn Hill and Kendrick Lamar, as well as pioneering jazz musicians like Nina Simone and Billie Holiday. For more than a decade, she has proudly carried the torch from both worlds forward on a series of remarkable masterpieces, including her breakthrough album Grey Area (2019) and Sometimes I Might Be Introvert (2021), which earned her a Mercury Prize and a Brit Award for Best New Act.

This summer, Little Simz returns to Roskilde Festival – this time on the iconic Orange Stage. With a full band, a world-class back catalogue and a presence that can make even Denmark’s biggest stage feel intimate, the time is right for another masterclass from one of modern hip-hop’s most visionary voices.
