The visionary producer brings his maximalist pop show back to Roskilde Festival

It was already evident that Danish musician Tonser is not afraid to go to extremes when he delivered a spectacular concert at Roskilde Festival's First Days in 2025. The ambitious songwriter and producer follows his own rules in a breathless mash-up of genres, but the result is irresistible and deeply captivating.

With a larger-than-life personality and a taste for pop musical maximalism, Tonser unfolds a spectacular show, where a foundation of EDM, hyperpop and K-pop is allowed to blossom wildly with references to black metal, Game of Thrones and Celtic music.

Tonser’s futuristic synth pads, bone-crushing breakbeats and massive drops leave audiences feeling like they've taken part in a post-apocalyptic rave, where the visionary musician and producer with his white hair emerges as a saving cyberpunk angel.

Based in Tokyo, Tonser released his debut album Night Hunter in 2024, which has earned him a large following in Asia. The 2025 album wolf cemented Tonser's ability to create wild musical universes that embrace both the vulnerable and the grandiose with an almost cinematic feel. An artist who, both on his releases and on stage, pushes the boundaries of how Danish pop music can sound, and whom we are thrilled to bring back to Roskilde Festival.
