At this year’s Roskilde Festival, artist Bartek Arobal Kociemba—in collaboration with Mikkel Nielsen and Stefan Weglowski—creates an immersive pavilion that blends art and activism. Rehearsals of Belonging 2.0 provides a safer space where festivalgoers can relax, regain strength, engage with new ideas, and reflect on their place in a multicultural society.

With its stunning blend of wood, textiles, and bioplastics, the space is enveloped in immense soundscapes encouraging contemplation. The motifs printed on textiles symbolize movement and transformation, inspired by migration and queerness, inviting you to rethink how societies evolve.

Explore the daily program, where every experience within the pavilion invites to deeper connection, from guided sessions of queer meditation to interactive performances of movement and sound.

Bartek Arobal Kociemba is a Polish visual artist, spiritual teacher, and co-founder of the artist-run VLP Gallery.

Mikkel Nielsen has built a solid career as an architect and dedicated himself to exploring the boundaries between art, design, architecture, and sustainability.

Stefan Węgłowski is a composer, producer, and live performer. His works include mostly compositions for small ensembles and solo instruments.

Bartek Arobal Kociemba and Mikkel Nielsen live together in Copenhagen and Stefan Weglowski is based in Warsaw.
