Inside a black box near Orange Stage, you’re invited to lean back and immerse yourself in a filmed performance created by students from the National Film School of Denmark. Step into a space filled with curiosity, care, joy – and a quiet sense of rebellion. A longing for something more.
Eye To Eye is a short film set to music, where a group of people perform while being filmed – and filming each other. You’re watching them. They’re watching one another. It’s about being seen. And seeing.
It’s a sensory experience – but also a reminder that every person, and every gaze, holds value. If we want to imagine a better world, we must begin by understanding each other.
Eye To Eye is made by Ahmed El Kholy, Johan Lange Reddersen, Clara Miller, Rie Windfeld Skou, Clara Lucie Jetsmark Bjerre and Ottavia Catenacci.
The National Film School of Denmark and Roskilde Festival collaborate to create space for new voices, new narratives, and new ways of understanding the role of art in society – and how art can actively engage us in shaping our shared future.
