- Monday 30 JuneReading: Khaterah Parwani, 11:00, Re:Act
What does it mean to have a free voice in a time when social, religious, and cultural norms try to control what we say and believe? Lawyer, social commentator, and speaker Khaterah Parwani joins Re:ACT to talk about the importance of freedom of speech—and the challenges that come with using it.
With her extensive experience in the gender equality and minority debate, Khaterah will focus on how to stand firm in your beliefs and navigate a society where external pressures often set limits on what can be said openly.
Through personal experiences and social analysis, she will inspire the audience to take ownership of their own voice—and use it, even when it is controversial or requires courage.
Please note: This event will be in Danish.
Re:Act is presented by Rapolitics, Roskilde Festival, and the Danish Institute for Human Rights, with support from the Tuborg Foundation and the OpEn Fund.
